Cooley High
Here are some bands I like to listen to lately..................(Clic Names to see a video of the bands ok)
SWELL MAPS
ERASURE
GASTUNK
SONIC YOUTHHHHH
MARKED MEN
SLOAN(Old joints only)
I've been listening to some other shit too. It seems like grunge is making a real comeback. I never knew it really went away. I didn't stop listening to it. My sister got green docs and the "Singles" soundtrack when we were kids, and after that I dyed my undercut blue and stole my dad's corduroy pants. I kept skating, but tried to do it in some bizzare sort of combat boot/alligator joints that I got from my brother....I think he actually got them from John Fluevog....the dude, not the store. We went there once as a family, and he gave us all shoes because him and my parents used to be pals or something. My brother wore a suicidal tendencies shirt in the store and I think mom and dad were mad at him. Hrmmm.....I always loved that Sloan video. The drummer's vibe is untouchable. Also, Gastunk are for sure from the future and were sent back to sonically rearrange people's dicks. In the future Gastunk will be the only music to have survived the worms and all that, because it is just very ripping. Erasure? Youtube "Erasure Wild!" and prepare to have your face totalled by the sonic jihad of two super gay dudes who make great pop songs. Yo, Age Of Electric was hell of shitty. Screw that band. Limblifter was tight though. So was Gas Huffer, and I got to see them live with Mudhoney as a wee dogg.....in seattle, nonetheless! Thanks ma and pa for dragging my ass to bumbershoot all those years. My brother and sister and I always managed to score weed there, even as groms. Even mushrooms from a duder with a dreamcatcher tattoo, one year when Lou Reed played with Sonic Youth. Bonnnnnnerrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!! I still haven't caught a steelhead this year....despite having bought some cool new stuff like a spey rod. Been spending more time than ever in the bushes, alone. FU.

SS DECONTROL
Here are some artists I have been feeling lately.........
Francis Picabia.
Ichabod-YME.
Ich is one of the illest. Duder has piles of clean, grim, straight-letter cars rolling on many different lines, and I'm lucky enough to see his shit on a regular basis. I'm not sure where He's from, but there used to be an Ich bomb on the North side of that viaduct at Glen and Hastings, and there is still an Ichabod tag in what is now a community garden behind the Rice Block.
